You’ll find a bank at Burnt-Hills Ballston Lake High School.
As part of a collaboration with First New York Federal Credit Union – the high school recently celebrated the opening of its student-run Spartan Branch.
Students say this is a great opportunity to expand their experience and knowledge in the world of financial wellness.
Student volunteers manage all aspects of the branch, from cashing checks to withdrawing money and taking deposits for both Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake staff and fellow students.
This branch will help students learn more about financial wellness at an early age, said the bank’s Vice President of Marketing and Business Development.
Thanks to the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce for this submission.
