Two authors to discuss life struggles, hardships at Saratoga Springs roundtable

Two local authors are joining together for a candid discussion about their individual stories, hoping to raise money for charities that speak to them personally.
“Life Lessons for Children and Adults – An Authors Roundtable” is Sunday, April 2 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Saratoga Springs City Center in Saratoga Springs.
Capital Region authors Sean Martin and Roger Saillant will be there, sharing their stories in their new books.
NewsChannel 13’s Subrina Dhammi will also be there.
Martin – a former chief financial officer – grew up in the Albany area. His book is called “Dear Liam and Noah, Letters from Daddy.” It’s a book filled with letters to his boys, now 6 years old.
He shares with his boys what happened in his life, leading up to point of finally starting a family. It took 12 rounds of IV treatments. Each entry ends with “I love you. Daddy”.
Saillant, an executive in large corporations, lives in Saratoga Springs. He detailed his story of going through the foster care system. His book is called, “The Power of Being Seen.”
