Albany police chief takes part in Akron town hall meeting

Albany’s police chief is a finalist for the chief of police job in Akron, Ohio.

Eric Hawkins and the three other finalists answered questions from people in that community during a town hall event Thursday.

Hawkins has said he doesn’t have any job offers from other agencies and he’s devoting his time and energy to Albany.
