State budget still in limbo three weeks after due date

The state budget is more than three weeks late – and there are still no signs lawmakers are close to reaching a deal.

Lawmakers will have to pass another extender bill Tuesday to keep the government running, and to guarantee state workers get paid.

The budget was due April 1.

The sticking points holding up the budget right now are bail reform and affordable housing.
