ALBANY – Wednesday was the final regular COVID briefing in Albany County.
NewsChannel 13 covered these every day for months and months.
This signals the closest we’ve been in 15 months to life returning to normal.
In all, 385 people in Albany County died from COVID.
January was the most difficult, with the most cases reported in one day at 346. Nearly 90 people died that month alone.
Now there was gratitude, relief and the realization of the immense work that went on behind the scenes.
Nearly 75% of the Capital Region has received one dose of the vaccine. However, there was still a word of caution from the county health commissioner.
Hear what she had to say by watching the video of Subrina Dhammi’s story.
