Vandalized Albany statue restored as arrest is made

An arrest has been made in the case of a statue toppled outside a restaurant in downtown Albany.
Jordan Michael was arrested last Thursday night, said police. He was charged with criminal mischief.
Michael is accused of intentionally pushing over a statue outside Villa Di Como on Lark Street back on April 5. The statue – worth $6,500 – was shattered.
Michael was arraigned, and released on his own recognizance.
The restaurant held an event Friday evening to celebrate the statue’s restoration.
