The Bethlehem girls lacrosse team took down Shenendehowa 6-5 on Monday night to repeat as Class A sectional champions. In what was a defensive affair, only two goals were scored in the second half. With 14 minutes left Lauren Riker broke a 5-5 tie with what proved to be the game winner for the Eagles. It was made even more special by the fact that these players didn’t compete in spring sports last year because of the pandemic. See highlight and post-game reaction here.
