Woman due for arraignment in North Adams grandmother’s death

The Berkshire County woman accused of killing her grandmother last Halloween night was scheduled to be arraigned Thursday afternoon.
Kelsie Cote is charged with first-degree murder.
Doris Cote, 74, was found with bruising to her neck, and at least seven wounds to her head in North Adams
Investigators found her at the bottom of the basement stairs in her home. However, the district attorney believes Cote moved the body to that spot, they said.
Cote has pleaded not guilty.
