A Cohoes man admits his guilt in connection with a deadly shooting in the city last year.
Joseph Evans Jr. pleaded guilty in Albany County Court to criminal possession of a weapon.
On June 30, 2020, 18-year-old Tyshawn Daniels was shot and killed near Lansing and Schuyler streets.
An investigation found Evans was involved in that shooting.
The district attorney tells NewsChannel 13 Evans’ guilty plea fully satisfies other open matters pending in Albany County.
He faces nine and a half years in prison.
