State police arrested two people in Washington County following a traffic stop.
Kevin Williamson of Argyle was driving without a valid driver’s license, police said. They arrested him last Tuesday on a drug possession charge on top of other vehicle and traffic violations.
The person in the passenger seat of the car is also facing charges. Jaime Hinds of Moriah is accused of jumping in the driver’s seat during the traffic stop and driving off — nearly hitting a state trooper.
Police found Hinds three days later. While trying to arrest her, she made another attempt to get away, running into the woods in Argyle, police said.
She has multiple open arrest warrants out of Essex County.
