2 men killed in separate Albany shootings
Police are investigating after two men were gunned down early Sunday in Albany.

The first homicide happened around 12:45 a.m. near Myrtle Avenue and Philip Street. Deandre Morrison, 28, was found with gunshot wounds to his torso. He was rushed to Albany Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Later, at 2:05 a.m., there was another report of a shooting. Officers responded to the 500 block of Hamilton Street between Ontario and Partridge streets. That’s where they found Benjamin Rowe, 25, with wounds to his torso. He was also pronounced dead at Albany Med.
Police do not believe the two shootings are connected.
