Bishop Avery Comithier is a well-known go-to person to eulogize people who are not members of his church. He is now preparing for eulogy number 41.
The bishop reflected on how he approaches every eulogy.
“We are our brothers’ keeper. When it happens to one – it happens to me,” he said.
Comithier has seen more death in his 50 years in Albany, than many people.
The bishop will deliver eulogy number 41 on Saturday for DeAndre Morrison.
Morrison, 28, was shot and killed Sunday morning on Myrtle Avenue and Philip Street.
No one is in custody at this time, Albany Police said.
