Bus drivers with Trailways bus company are working overtime to offer more trips per day to stranded travelers in both Albany and the Hudson Valley, the company’s president said.
This comes as Amtrak service was still suspended between Albany and New York City on Tuesday, due to recent flooding and storms that damaged the tracks.
Trailways buses stop at three locations in Albany.
The only train not listed as cancelled on Tuesday afternoon was a train to Niagara Falls.
Metro-North is repairing flooded tracks, Amtrak said. Service was expected to stay suspended through at least Tuesday.
