Veterans honored with music, food at Empire State Plaza in Albany

Veterans and their families were honored at Empire State Plaza in Albany on Thursday.
This was part of the Plaza Concert Series filled with small acts of kindness.
Food vouchers were handed out from local food vendors.
The Gone Gray Band put on a live concert.
Programs were offered by the sponsor – M&T Bank – who shared information to help with the transition from active-duty back to civilian life.

Employees from the bank have a veteran’s resource group.
They are regularly organizing volunteer opportunities within the community.
