Police: Drunk teen in New Lebanon had nine passengers in their car

A Columbia County teenager could be facing prison time, after an alleged drunken driving incident over the weekend, in which nine other teenagers were stuffed inside their Honda sedan.
It was early Sunday Morning in New Lebanon, when a New York State trooper observed the car racing eastbound on Route 20 at a speed more than 100 miles per hour.
There were nine passengers in the car, for a total of 10 people.
The driver is charged with several felonies under Leandra’s Law, since four of the passengers were younger than 16.
The max for aggravated drunk driving is up to four years in prison.
