After the heavy flooding across the state mid-July, New York responded to Vermont Governor Phil Scott’s request for help.
The nine engineers inspected 45 dams and traveled over 1,900 miles while conducting their inspections.
They returned back to New York just over two weeks ago.
Overall, Vermont officials were able to inspect more than 400 dams with the help of staff from New York and Massachusetts.
