Four-thousand kids in the Ballston Spa Central School District returned to school on Thursday. A new principal was there to greet them.
Matthew Robinson came from the Troy City School District.
Starting this school year, cell phones must be “silent and away” during instructional time. That means the phone must be in a bag, locker, pocket, or classroom cell phone holder for the duration of a lesson.
Students will be allowed to use their phone during study halls, in hallways and during lunch.
As the new year begins, the district is also looking for more bus drivers. You can get more information by clicking here.
