Service restored after repairs to Lansingburgh water main line

Water service has been restored for Troy residents after Monday’s large water main break, according to the mayor.

Any resident experiencing low water pressure or no water should contact the Department of Public Utilities at 518-237-0241.

A boil water advisory continues to be in effect for Troy’s “low service areas.”

DPU workers will be going door to door to collect samples of water from homes and businesses to test water and ensure its quality.

Work continues to repair the 30-inch cast iron main line that was damaged by the break.

Mayor Patrick Madden thanked Public Utilities workers in a news release for the “grueling work,” so residents can have safe, potable drinking water.
