Police arrest three after theft at Queensbury Walmart
Three people are facing burglary charges after a reported theft at Walmart in Queensbury.
The Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded to the store on Route 9 in Queensbury for a report of a theft in progress. Upon arrival, deputies arrested a woman and were told that a second suspect fled the scene in a U-Haul van.
Officers found the van and stopped it in the parking lot of the budget Inn of Route 9. During a search of the vehicle, police found a 2023 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle that was reported stolen from Willision, Vermont.
Arrested in the incident were: Tyivon Wright, 24, of Brooklyn; Jesse B. Colon, 32, of Brooklyn; and Candace D. Eddings, 28, of Essex, Vermont.
All three were charged with criminal possession of stolen property. Wright was also charged with criminal impersonation.
They were all held pending arraignment.
