State agencies announce new resources to protect public drinking water

The Department of Environmental Conservation and Department of Health have announced new resources to protect public drinking water.

This is part of a new program. For cities and towns that want to take advantage of the drinking water source protection program, the state will put new initiatives in place for free.

The state is committed to providing clean water to communities all across New York, it said.
