Man accused of sexually abusing runaways
A 28-year-old Albany man is accused of sexually abusing and harboring runways.
Calvin Cross, 28, is accused of harboring runways and giving them marijuana while inside his residence, according to Albany Police spokeswoman Megan Craft. The investigation began after police received a call from the St. Anne’s Institute youth residential home asking them to check on a residence regarding runaways.
Cross was charged with first-degree sex abuse, four counts of endangering the welfare of a child and three counts of criminal sale of cannabis.
