Schoharie limo tragedy marks five years

Friday marks the fifth anniversary of the limousine crash that killed 20 people in Schoharie.

The limousine was carrying 17 friends who were traveling from Amsterdam to Cooperstown for a birthday party, when it careened out of control at the bottom of hilly road and crashed into the parking lot of the Apple Barrel. All 17 passengers, the driver and two people in the parking lot were killed.

In May, the operator of the limo company, Nauman Hussain, was sentenced to 5 to 15 years in prison after being convicted of 20 counts of manslaughter.
