Albany Police investigate shooting that injured 19-year-old man

Albany Police are investigating a shooting that injured a 19-year-old man.

Officers responded to the area of Belvidere Avenue and Eileen Street for reports of a shooting. They located a man with a gunshot wound to the shoulder, according to a news release.

The victim was treated on scene by emergency medical personnel and transported to Albany Medical Center Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

At this time it is believed to be an isolated incident.
