Two new winter attractions in Lake George are expected to draw large crowds beginning in November. “Winter’s Dream” and “Winter Realm’s” are being built side by side at Fort William Henry and in the Festival Commons.
“Winter’s Dream” at Fort William Henry will include an interactive, immersive multi-media experience with light shows, original music, and video projection.
“Winter Realm’s” in the Festival Commons, is a less weather-dependent version of the popular Ice Castles. It will feature a skating rink, light displays, a Santa’s Village and ice bar.
Warren County leaders say it could turn the Lake George area into one of the top wintertime destination’s in the Northeast.
The county kicked in $3M in occupancy tax money to make the attractions come to life. “Winter Realm’s” will be opening November 24. “Winter’s Dream” will open in early December.
