Work has started to build the new Lake George Winter’s Dream attraction on the grounds of Fort William Henry.

There will be light-and-sound shows and winter-themed projected videos. Workers were doing some landscaping at the fort Thursday preparing to start construction.

Meanwhile, equipment was staged next door at the Festival Commons at Charles R. Wood Park for Winter Realms, which is the less-weather dependent attraction that’s replacing Ice Castles.

Winter realms opens on Nov. 24 and Winter’s Dream opens in December.
