Liquor and wine stores in New York state can open a little earlier and close a little later on Sundays.

Gov. Kathy Hochul signed a bill allowing stores to open at 10 a.m. and close at 10 p.m.

It was among several bills the governor signed that she said will improve alcoholic beverage laws for people and small business owners.
