Queensbury man pleads guilty to knifepoint robbery
A man from Queensbury has pleaded guilty to robbing a gas station at knifepoint.
Justin Cabral, 36, admitted to robbing the Speedway on Aviation Road in Queensbury.
Over the summer, Cabral threatened the gas station clerk with the knife and demanded money.
Officials say they found Cabral and took him into custody on foot. He was sentenced to 13 years in prison, followed by 5 years of post-release supervision.
His accomplice in the robbery, Garrett Murray, 25, pled guilty to driving the getaway vehicle.
Murray’s sentencing is scheduled for a later date.
