Woman with ALS shares journey ahead of annual walk
Ahead of the Walk to Strike Out ALS, JoAnne Snyder, a local woman sat down with Faith King to share her journey of living with ALS.
Snyder was diagnosed with ALS in August 2021. A doctor gave her three to five years to live.
JoAnne and her husband, John, didn’t know much about the disease when she was diagnosed. Now, they are telling their story, while giving praise to the St. Peter’s ALS Regional Center ahead of the Walk to Strike Out ALS.
They’re hoping to raise awareness of this deadly disease with no cure.
Watch Faith’s stories to learn more about the Snyder’s as they live with ALS, and more about the St. Peter’s ALS Regional Center’s role in our community.
The 22nd annual Walk to Strike Out ALS is Saturday, October 21, 2023.
Registration is at 9 a.m., the walk kicks off at 10 a.m. at Hudson Valley Community College’s student pavilion.
You can register for the walk or donate at Walk to Strike Out ALS – St. Peter’s ALS Regional Center.
