Blue flower represents people living with Alzheimer’s at walk
Walk to End Alzheimer's blue flower represents people who have been diagnosed with the disease.
All this week, NewsChannel 13’s Faith King has been highlighting the Promise Garden – five flowers that people will be carrying at the Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Saturday.
The blue flower represents people living with the disease, which is about 410,000 New Yorkers 65 and older
They are so brave to go up and share their story,” said Beth Smith-Boivin, director of the Alzheimer’s Association of Northeastern New York.
The walk will take place at Siena College. Registration begins at 10 a.m.
