Amsterdam gearing up for annual Halloween parade

The city of Amsterdam will once again host its annual Halloween parade.

The parade will kick off this coming Saturday, October 28, at 1 p.m. on Guy Park Avenue.

This parade is one of Amsterdam’s longest standing and most popular Halloween traditions and celebrations.

Thousands of people come out every year to enjoy creative floats, dress up in costume and pass out candy to bystanders.

The award-winning Amsterdam Marching Rams will also close out the parade.
