Columbia County nursing home workers ask DOH to approve sale

HUDSON – Residents and caregivers of one Columbia County nursing home are demanding an end to what they call a dangerous roller coaster ride of uncertainty.

They held a rally Monday, calling on the Department of Health to approve the sale of the Livingston Hills Nursing Home.

While other efforts to sell the home have fallen apart, there is a buyer currently waiting in the wings.

They’re asking for the DOH to allow the sale before conditions get any worse.
