Man’s leg crushed at Port of Coeymans

A man is recovering after his leg was crushed between a boat and a barge over the weekend.

Deputies responded to the Port of Coeymans at around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, according to the Albany County Sheriff’s Office.

The victim was stuck between the dock and the boat and was losing consciousness. Rescuers were able to free the man, who was then taken to Albany Medical Center with serious injuries.
