Several shootings are under investigation in Troy, Schenectady, and Albany.

The shootings happened from Saturday night through early Monday Morning.

The first shooting happened Saturday night around 6 p.m. in Albany.

A 51-year-old woman was shot in the leg at first and Ontario streets, police said.

She was brought to Albany Medical Center and is in stable condition.

The second shooting also happened on Saturday night. Albany Police responded to Albany Medical Center around 9:30 p.m., they said. A 54-year-old man was being treated after being shot in the ankle, they said.

Police believe that shooting happened on Delaware Avenue in the area of Magnolia Terrace and Carroll Terrace.

The suspect and victim knew each other, police said.

Then around 4:20 Sunday morning in Schenectady, police said as a large crowd broke up from a big party, an officer found a car with two people passed out. Inside that car, police spotted a gun.

A person in the car was arrested, Dione Kowalchyk, 25, from Watervliet.

A short time later, a person went to Ellis Hospital with a gunshot to the leg, and is expected to be OK.

Then someone checked into Samaritan Hospital around 8 a.m. Monday morning, Troy Police said.
The victim said he had been shot earlier on 2^nd Avenue near 111th Street by someone he didn’t know.
