Police: Oregon man crashed car into Knox home while driving drunk
The Albany County Sheriff’s Office said Esteban Rodriguez, 43, of Oregon crashed a vehicle into a house while intoxicated in the Town of Knox on Friday, November 3.
At around 8:48 p.m., deputies at the Albany County Sheriff’s received a call from a Knox resident that a vehicle crashed into their home.
Rodriguez admitted to consuming alcohol prior to driving the vehicle and he failed roadside field sobriety tests, the sheriff’s office said. The 43-year-old male was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
Deputies said they found from a chemical test that Rodriguez had a blood alcohol content of 0.12%.
Rodriguez was charged with driving while intoxicated and several other vehicle and traffic violations. He was released on appearance tickets by the Sheriff’s office and is due to appear in Knox Town Court on December 6.
