There’s one week left to make a donation to Hatsgiving.

New or homemade hats can be dropped off at the Recovery Sports Grill locations in Albany, Troy, East Greenbush and Amsterdam.

Hatsgiving provides soft, warm hats for children who have lost their hair while battling cancer.

It was started in 2012 by Jeremy Wernick, of Latham, when he was just 8 years old.
