Death Wish Coffee opens retail store in Saratoga Springs

SARATOGA SPRINGS – It’s no secret many businesses are struggling because of the pandemic, but one business is expanding.

Death Wish Coffee opened its own retail store in Saratoga Springs.

The coffee is billed as the "World’s Strongest Coffee."

Fans of that special, potent blend can stop in at the company’s brand new Death Wish retail center that they say provides a shopping experience as bold and iconic as their coffee.

The ribbon cutting held Friday at company headquarters at 260 Broadway introduces the public to coffee products, mugs and merchandise you won’t see any place else.

Todd Shimkus with the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce couldn’t be happier about it.

"It’s another destination for us on Broadway. It’s unique, it’s special. You know, this is a worldwide known brand, so I think it’ll help us attract people here. It’s something nobody else has, right? We’re the only Death Wish Coffee headquarters in the world, so I think it’s a great attraction for us," said Shimkus.
