Police: Amsterdam man posted intimate images of another person online

An Amsterdam man is facing charges for allegedly posting intimate images of a person online without their permission.

State Police said Francis T. Dicaprio, 28, took videos and pictures of the victim in a home where they expected privacy. Dicaprio did not have permission or consent of the person.

Police began investigating after receiving a complaint in May 2022. Through the investigation, troopers found two other victims. The alleged crimes occurred in the city of Amsterdam and town of Milton.

Dicaprio was charged with two counts of unlawful surveillance, two counts of unlawful dissemination or publication of an intimate image and one count of dissemination of an unlawful surveillance image.

He was released on appearance tickets and due back in court at later dates.
