Three Ravena Rescue EMTs attacked by people in patient’s home
Three members of the Ravena Rescue Squad were attacked while trying to help a patient Saturday morning.
Three members of the Ravena Rescue Squad say they were attacked while they were trying to help a patient Saturday morning.
The squad was called to a home in Ravena around 7 a.m. when EMTs were attacked by people in the patient’s home, said Assistant Chief Travis Witbeck.
Witbeck said one EMT suffered minor injuries and the other two EMTs were not injured.
All three EMTs returned to duty immediately, he said.
Coeyman’s Police, New York State Troopers, and the Albany County Sheriff’s Office are now involved in the case.
