Two people were bitten by an animal while walking in Hudson Pointe Nature Preserve in Queensbury, according to Warren County Public Health staff. One person had dogs with them.
No one was seriously hurt, but one person needed medical treatment.
DEC found an aggressive fisher and killed it on Wednesday afternoon.
The fisher also bit someone involved in the search.
