There’s a new catering service at the Empire State Plaza rink starting this Saturday, Dec. 9.

A new PDT Catering food truck will be selling hot beverages and meals each Saturday.

There will also be free carriage rides this Saturday, Dec. 9, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. an ice sculptor from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Both events were originally scheduled for the tree lighting, but were rescheduled because of the weather.

The food truck will be on the Empire State Plaza each Saturday going forward.

It’s free to skate every day. Skate rentals are $5 six days a week, and free on Saturdays.
