Singer with world experience returns home to Hudson Falls
Tony DeSare has had albums in the top 10 of the Billboard charts. The Hudson Falls native has been compared to Frank Sinatra, Harry Connick Jr. and Michael Bublé.
DeSare’s love affair with the piano has served him well. He credits the teachers at Hudson Falls High who inspired him through music. He’s been entertaining audiences around the world for the past 30 years.
He was just 17 when he did his first public performance. He was so good that he got an offer to play at The Queensbury Hotel.
He went off to Ithaca College and majored in business, but took some music classes as that continued to be his first love.
DeSare then moved to New York City and eventually performed at Carnegie Hall, Blue Note and Birdland.
He’s also opened for some of the biggest stars around including the late Don Rickles.
Now he’s returning home for a concert this weekend.
