The Troy Middle School Parent Teacher Organization held a teacher appreciation essay contest.

Students were invited to write 100 to 200 words about a teacher they chose.

The winning essay was written about Ms. Schwartz, who received two tickets to the Bored Teachers Comedy Show in March.

The winning essay was written by eighth grader Eiley Fronhofer. She said her art teacher, Ms. Schwartz, is like the school mom who is humble, responsible, and confident.
