Ballston Spa woman pleads guilty in stabbing

A Ballston Spa woman has admitted to stabbing a person in the stomach.

Catherine A. Christopher, 46, pleaded guilty in Saratoga County Court on Wednesday to second-degree assault, according to the Saratoga County District Attorney’s Office.

Christopher stabbed the victim, who she knew, multiple times.

The person was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Sentencing is set for May 15.
