Troy High School has a new leader.

The Troy City School District Board of Education named Joshua Monk executive principal effective April 15.

Monk has served as an assistant principal at Troy Middle School since 2022 and previously held the position of dean of students.

He is a 2007 Troy graduate and also taught math at the school before joining the administration.

He is replacing Joseph Mariano, who left earlier this year.
