New York Farm Bureau members donated 8 million pounds of food through the Harvest For All program.
This was the second-highest donation total out of every state in the country, only behind Florida.
As its reward, the New York Farm Bureau was given a $250 grant, which will be donated to Feeding New York State.
The bureau was also recognized for its 250 hours of volunteer service and for collecting $25,000 in donations.
