Officials have created a new plan for the future of transportation in the Capital Region. It’s called “In Motion: The Plan To 2050”.
The plan will look to improve roads and modernize the infrastructure to make it easier for people to get around.
It will also explore ways to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from transportation.
The Capital Region Transportation Council is hosting a public workshop Thursday evening, March 21 at 6 p.m.
They will talk about the plan and see data on trends regarding transit in the Capital District.
Officials want to make sure they are listening to the community throughout the planning process, they said.
The plan is expected to be completed by September 2025.
