We Salute You: Elise Fountain

Please join us in saluting Elise Elmer of Des Moines, Iowa, with family connections to Altamont and Voorheesville.

The wife and mother of six served as a pharmacist’s mate and dental technicians in the Navy from 1943 to 1946.

She married a Navy Pilot, Fred Fountain and they settled in Lake Placid.
