‘Stick It To Cancer’ taking place at Glens Falls arena
“Stick It To Cancer” is taking place this weekend at Cool Insuring Arena in Glens Falls.
The annual fundraiser led by the Adirondack Thunder hockey team benefits the Charles R. Wood Cancer Center at Glens Falls Hospital.
The Thunder will wear special jerseys both nights and fans will have a chance to buy the official game-worn threads as part of an auction after Saturday night’s game. Proceeds will go to the cancer center.
A $10 donation will get fans onto the ice to paint an inspirational message, or the name of a loved one taken by cancer or battling the disease.
Both games start at 7 p.m.
