DALLAS, Texas – Sergio Reyna is a senior at Dr. Emmett J. Conrad High School in Dallas.
He and his classmate Collin Porter interned at Dallas-based video game developer Magnin & Associates to create a unique game.
"The Wheelchair Mobility Experience" echoes teammate Collin’s daily life. He was born with a joint condition called arthrogryposis and relies on a wheelchair to get around.
Players navigate their way through challenges like a park while in a wheelchair.
Challenges include if they can actually go that fast in the grass or they have to take the pavement.
The game has levels as players complete tasks like grocery shopping.
It even got the attention of Gov. Greg Abbott, who also uses a wheelchair.
