Cairo man accused of drunken driving with child in vehicle

A Greene County man is accused of drunken driving with a child in the vehicle last month.

Douglas C. Wager, 41, of Cairo, was stopped on Henry Johnson Boulevard in Albany for a traffic violation, State Police said. Troopers determined that Wager was impaired. A child was in the car with him.

Wager also had a controlled substance, according to police. He was charged with aggravated DWI, criminal possession of a controlled substance and traffic violations and the child was turned over to a family member.

Christopher P. Juzapavicus, 31, of New Baltimore, was a passenger in the car. He allegedly had a controlled substance and was charged with misdemeanor drug possession.

The traffic stop took place on March 17, but police released information about it on Thursday.

Both men are due in Albany City Court on April 8.
